Dear Members of the Community,
I am pleased to announce that admissions to the Student Medical Committee have officially commenced, and interviews are currently underway. This year, we are considering the possibility of reducing the number of committee members to enhance efficiency and foster better communication. The final decision regarding the size of the committee will be determined by the admissions committee, ensuring that we maintain our commitment to excellence and effectiveness in our operations.
We are eagerly looking forward to introducing you to the exceptional individuals who will soon join our ranks as newly admitted candidates. These students come from diverse backgrounds, united by a common vision of creating a more inclusive healthcare system for all. Our team comprises motivated medical students from various institutions, each bringing a unique set of skills and perspectives to the table.
In recent times, Lebanon has faced severe economic challenges, exacerbating the struggles of its people in accessing healthcare services.Medical students, have witnessed firsthand the repercussions of this crisis, with patients often seeking medical attention at later stages of illness, leading to preventable suffering. In response to this pressing need, we are dedicated to laying the foundation for preventative medicine in Lebanon. Through targeted screening campaigns aimed at the underserved populations, we aim to address healthcare disparities and promote proactive healthcare practices.
We are deeply committed to our mission of advancing healthcare accessibility and quality, and we invite you to join us in our endeavors. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
Sincerely,
Nehme Gerges Melhem
